BRIDGEVILLE, PA, UNITED STATES, September 1, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — METCASE has expanded the options available for its popular INSTRUMET 19″/10.5″ aluminum rack enclosures, which can now be specified with either non-slip tilt feet or an adjustable bail arm to provide more ergonomic viewing and operation.
Designed for desktop and portable electronic equipment, INSTRUMET combines elegant styling, robust aluminum construction, and extensive customization capabilities in a competitively priced enclosure solution.
The versatile enclosures are engineered to accommodate standard 3U subracks, chassis, and front panels, making them suitable for a wide range of applications including test and measurement equipment, networking and communications systems, industrial computers, sound and studio equipment, and laboratory instrumentation.
INSTRUMET features a fabricated aluminum main body with diecast aluminum front and rear bezels. Access to internal electronics is straightforward, thanks to the removable bezels and U-shaped top cover. Three M4 earthing studs are provided as standard.
Each enclosure is supplied with subrack/chassis support rails and a ventilated rear panel. The base panel is also ventilated to aid airflow and cooling. Models fitted without the adjustable metal bail arm are equipped with two ABS side handles for convenient portability.
The enclosures are delivered fully assembled and include four ABS non-slip tilt feet as standard. INSTRUMET is available in a range of standard sizes, from 6.18″ x 11.93″ x 13.78″ to 6.18″ x 20.31″ x 17.72″. The standard color combination is light gray/window gray (RAL 7035/RAL 7040), with custom colors available on request.
A range of accessories is available, including front panels and 19-inch mounting kits.
To meet specific application requirements, METCASE can also supply INSTRUMET fully customized. Customization services include custom widths and depths, bespoke front panels, CNC machining, fixings and inserts, painting and finishing, and photo-quality digital printing of legends, logos, and graphics.
