San Ramon, California – September 16, 2026 – PRESSADVANTAGE –
Harmony & Healing, a San Francisco Bay Area nonprofit that brings live professional music to patients in healthcare settings, is advancing its fundraising efforts through a Private Benefit Concert program headlined by founder David Victor and his three-piece band, Tha Therapy Dawgs. The program invites wineries, country clubs, and private venues to host intimate fundraising events that sustain the organization’s free performances for patient communities across the region.
David Victor, the former guitarist and co-lead vocalist of the multiplatinum band BOSTON, founded the 501(c)(3) organization in 2019. Through the program, he fronts Tha Therapy Dawgs at events designed to generate the donations needed to keep live music flowing into hospitals, hospice facilities, rehabilitation centers, memory care communities, VA hospitals, and cancer support groups. The Harmony and Healing private benefit concerts are hosted by supporters who open their venues to raise funds for the mission.

The organization provides free live musical performances for groups of patients gathered in community and common spaces, often serving 20 or more individuals at once. These performances reach all ages, from pediatric units to senior memory care residents, with some visits offered virtually via Zoom. The concerts and gatherings are intended to lift spirits and offer patients and their caretakers a shared reprieve through music.
“Live music has a way of reaching people in healthcare settings that words alone cannot,” said David Victor, Founder and Executive Director of Harmony & Healing. “When a room full of patients hears familiar songs performed live, something shifts. The Private Benefit Concert program allows supporters to become part of that experience by hosting an event that directly funds the performances we bring into these facilities.”
Each benefit concert brings Tha Therapy Dawgs to a host venue for an evening of live music, with proceeds directed toward the organization’s programming. The events reflect the same spirit that drives Harmony & Healing’s work inside healthcare facilities, connecting audiences through professional performance while supporting patients who may not otherwise have access to live music.
“The venues that host these events, whether wineries, country clubs, or private homes, understand that they are helping deliver music to people during some of their most difficult days,” Victor said. “Every event moves resources toward the patients and communities we serve throughout the Bay Area.”
Harmony and Healing continues to partner with professional musicians who perform for patient groups in common spaces rather than individual rooms, an approach that allows the organization to reach many people at once while fostering a sense of community among patients and their loved ones. The services are supported entirely by corporate donations, private donations, and planned giving.
Harmony & Healing is located at 11040 Bollinger Canyon Road, Suite E-938, San Ramon, CA 94582, and can be reached at (925) 236-0217 or through www.harmonyandhealing.org.
